    Caerleon: Mudgee’s newest suburb is a great success

    Mudgee’s newest suburb is selling fast, with 50 per cent of Caerleon’s Stage 1 available stock sold already.

    The development has been on the market for less than two months, and has been a great success story for Mudgee.

    With sales going so well, it’s a testament to Mudgee, and the willingness of its residents to embrace this fantastic new aspect of the town. It’s a good sign for future growth as this new estate is an extension of Mudgee’s township, which will ultimately include over 1000 homes.

    Caerleon is Mudgee’s newest suburb and is part of Council’s plans to meet the growing demand for houses in the area, all driven by the unprecedented population growth. A quality, masterplanned estate is what Mudgee needed, according to the estate’s director, Nathan Davis.

    “Caerleon is already an award-winning estate, so we are not surprised people are interested. But to see it go to market and achieve this high level of interest is great for everyone.     When complete, the masterplan for Caerleon will include over 20 hectares of open space preserving the natural hills in the current landscape. As the town’w newest suburb, the tree lined streets, and multiple parks within the estate are intented for families across Mudgee to use, but will be right on the doorstep of those who make the move to Caerleon. Also, Caerleon residents will be the first in the area to get access to fast internet connections through the NBN.

    As Mudgee is one of the fastest growing towns in New South Wales, Caerleon is expecting to help accomodate the growing population. Troy Turner from Land Package Centre is working closely with the developers and builders and says that Caerleon is a long sought after opportunity for local residents to upgrade.

    “We are already pleasantly surprised with sales, and the unprecented interest in Caerleon,” he said. “The level of interest from builders and investors has been great. It will ensure we have an excellent product on the ground soon for the up coming surge of new residents, with new four-bedroom homes for between $450,000-$500,000. And here is the clincher: you get quality finishes, NBN ready high speed Internet and new masterplanned facilities all around you.”
