EAGLE ROCKS: Ross Wilson is among a stellar 12 act lineup at this year’s Day On The Green at Robert Oatley Vineyard in Mudgee.
Ross Wilson, Richard Clapton and Angry Anderson headline a stellar 70s, 80s and 90s lineup for this year’s A Day On The Green (ADOTG) at Robert Oatley Vineyards.
Joining them on stage will be 12 of the era’s most popular artists including the Eurogliders, Mi-Sex, Glenn Shorrock, 1927, Rose Tattoo, Mark Gable (The Choirboys), Gangajang, Thirsty Merc, Steve Kilbey (The Church) and Wendy Matthews.
It’s Mudgee’s eighteenth ADOTG concert since 2002 and promises to be a joyous, fun-filled celebration of the soundtrack of a generation.
Each act will perform a 20-minute set with 50 unforgettable chart-topping hits it total.
Eric Weideman from 1927 (‘That’s When I Think of You’, ‘If I Could’) said the concert will be a celebration of a fantastic period of Australian music.
“It’s been really satisfying for us that our songs have stood the test of time and still bring enjoyment to so many people,” he said.
Grace Knight from the Eurogliders (‘Heaven Must Be There’) said the songs bring back special memories and take the audience back to a period in their lives.
“The shows are high energy with hit after hit after hit smashed out,” she said.
“Every song comes with a happy memory,” he said.
“The audiences go ballistic, it’s such great fun for the performer and the audience. Bernie and I love doing these shows.”
