Three Mudgee region tourism operators have been announced as finalists in the 2017 NSW Tourism Awards.

Mudgee Region Tourism will again contest the Destination Marketing category after taking out the 2016 gold award earlier this year. The current marketing campaign, ‘Let’s Skip Town Together’ has been recognised for being at the forefront of delivering quality products and experiences, competing against Discover Balranald and Surrounds and Wild About Whales for the Destination Marketing award.

The region’s tourism group has also been named as a finalist in the Visitor Information Services category.

Mudgee Region Tourism CEO Cara George said it has already been a great year of wins for the region.

“It’s really reassuring that we’re doing a great job of sharing the beauty our region has to offer,” she said.

Abingdon House is a finalist in the Self-Contained Accommodation category and Sierra Escape for New Tourism Business. Category winners will be announced at the Presentation Night on Thursday, November 16 in Sydney.
