A VIBRANT TOWN
IN THE HEART OF
THE CENTRAL
TABLELANDS

With an array of great restaurants, a live music scene and more than 50 wineries and cellar doors to visit, Mudgee is the perfect place to call home. Farmers’ markets sell fresh local produce and cultural attractions such as museums and galleries abound.

The area plays host to a number of national and international sporting events, from rugby league and union through to motocross and horse racing, while boating and fishing enthusiasts can head to nearby lakes. Its calendar of exciting festivals includes A Day On The Green, the Mudgee Wine and Food Festival and the Readers’ Festival.

In addition to its thriving viticulture, agriculture and tourism industries, it is the expansion of the mining industry that is driving Mudgee’s latest growth. This has significantly enhanced property rental prices, making it an attractive investment prospect as well as a wonderful place to live.

There has been enormous growth in construction and operational roles as well as jobs in sub-industries which are expanding to support the influx of people to the mines. In fact, Council expects a need of 5,000 new homes before 2030. Mudgee also has its own airport, with daily flights to and from Sydney, making it easily accessible.
